The Kansas City Chiefs are once again Super Bowl Champions!

The Super Bowl is one of the most significant events of the year. Many people turn on their televisions to tune in and watch the game, the halftime show, and a popular one is for many is the TV commercials that often have humor and many stars involved.

Before the game, they had many events, such as the naming of the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. This year's winner was Cameron Heyward from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This year, for the national anthem, they started with three songs: The Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," performed by Andra Day, "America The Beautiful," performed by Post Malone, and finally, Reba McEntire, who performed the national anthem.

After that, Super Bowl 58 made history, and not in just one area, but in multiple! Here is a recap of what happened in this year's big game.

In Las Vegas, The Kansas City Chiefs and The San Francisco 49ers met to have it out to win the Lombardi trophy, with many in attendance. Some big names attended the Super Bowl, such as Elon Musk, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and Paul Rudd, to name a few.

Taylor Swift was also in attendance and made it to the game on time to see Travis Kelce and the team win this game.

In the first quarter, no one had scored, and it was a tough battle between the two teams. They both held each other off well from scoring any points.

In the second quarter, The San Francisco 49ers started to make moves in scoring. They first kicked a field goal with a first record breaking kick in Super Bowl history of 55-yards made by Jake Moody.

Following the field goal, a touchdown was made by Christian McCaffrey, leading the team to a score of ten to seven.

To finish off the second quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker, kicked a field goal for 28 yards, bringing the game to halftime and making the score ten to three to finish off the first half.

During halftime, NFL fans saw Usher perform this year's time show! He performed many songs such as "Caught Up," "U Don't Have to Call," "Superstar," "OMG," and "Yeah," and several other special guests in his show consisting of Alicia Keys, Lil John, Ludacrwere is, and Will. I. AM.

After half time, the Superbowl continued. During the third quarter, Kansas City kicked another field goal by Butker once again; another record was broken, beating out Moody's new Superbowl record with a 57-yard field goal, bringing the game to a score of Ten to six.

Following that, a few plays later, Kansas City scored a touchdown, taking their first lead of the game. This brought the game score to a final score of ten to 13 to finish the third quarter.

The fourth quarter of the Super Bowl got even more enjoyable. The 49ers scored another touched down made by Jauan Jennings after catching a pass from Brock Purdy. Kansas City blocked the extra point for the touchdown.

The score at this point in the game was 16 to 13.

Kansas City, following another drive, decided to go for the field goal kick and tie up the game to 16 to 16.

During the last minute of the game, the 49ers had Moody kick another field goal after another long drive, bringing the score to 19 to 16.

That said, Kansas got the ball back again and kicked another field goal using Butker in the last three seconds of the game, tying the score to 19 to 19.

This was another historical moment in Superbowl history. There have only ever been two Super Bowls where there has been an overtime. The first was Super Bowl 56, where The New England Patriots beat out The Atlanta Falcons in overtime.

In this game, both teams had a chance to have the ball at least once.

The San Fransico 49ers had the ball and made it down the field enough to kick a field goal, scoring 22 to 19.

When Kansas City received that ball, they took it to the end and scored a touchdown made by Mecole Hardman Jr., bringing the game to an end with a final score of 25 to 22.

Making The Kansas City Chiefs back-to-back Superbowl Champions.
