The NFL’s first week of regular season games was both everything that everyone wanted and, among other things, that many did not want.
From Thursday, September 6 to Monday, September 11, all 32 teams brought out their starters for the season, and most did reasonably well.
The season's opening night on Thursday kicked off with Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions.
Both teams worked and played hard, but Detroit brought home the win with a score of 21 to 20.
NFL fans saw their favorite teams play again on Sunday.
There were three rounds of games throughout the whole day on Sunday.
The first few games started at one P.M.
The Cincinnati Bengals played the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns did very well in the game and won with the final score of 24 to 3.
The Baltimore Ravens played the Texans.
The Ravens won the game with a final score of 25 to 9.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played the Minnesota Vikings.
The game scored close, with the Buccaneers coming out on top with a final score of 20 to 17.
The North Carolina Panthers played The Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons won this game with a final score of 10 to 24.
The Arizona Cardinals played the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders beat the Cardinals in a final score of 16 to 20.
The Jacksonville Jaguars played the Indianapolis Colts.
The Jaguars beat the Colts in a final score of 31 to 21.
The San Francisco 49ers took on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 49ers won the game with a final score of 30 to 7.
The last of the one P.M. games finished up with The Tennesee Titans and The New Orlean Saints.
There was another close in scoring games.

The second round of Games started between four and four-thirty.
The Los Vegas Raiders and The Denver Broncos played one another.

On Monday, the last game of week one was played, and only two teams played.
